a little Monday morning coffee inspiration for you today. I had the most uneventful weekend so when it came to writing a post I was lost...so lost so I turned to Jerrica's blog for some ideas, and decided to do a book review!
This book is your typical Southern romance love story but it's also quirky and fun. When I read I really like detail because I like to visualize what's going on and how the setting looks and Mary does a great job of describing things well. The book is based in Savannah and centers around Cara Kryzik, a florist, whose business is really starting to take off. Fresh off a divorce Cara has basically sworn of the existence of love and faithfulness but she puts her heart and soul into providing beautiful arrangements for brides all over Savannah. She lives her days for flowers and her golden-doodle, Poppy. While juggling an unenthusiastic bride and a controlling step-mother to said bride, Cara meets the ultimate distraction, Jack Finnerty. Jack is a nice distraction from all of Cara's troubles that seem to be popping up, but he proves to be much more than that. The book follows along as Cara manages a new florist in town dying to take her down, a missing bride and the ultimate head vs. heart relationship with Jack.
This book is full of humor, love and fun and I definitely recommend it. It's an easy read, perfect for a day by the pool or lounging on the beach. I can't wait to look into more of Andrew's books and if they're anything like Save The Date I'm sure I'll be a fan!
