2. My mom is coming to visit today and I'm really excited! Although she's coming into our house full of germs so I've been using lysol on everything so we hopefully won't catch what Michael has. It will be a short visit but at least we have the chance to spend a little bit of time together.
3. I can't express how much I love Dunkin Donuts coffee. They make it perfect every time and the staff at the one by our apartment is so friendly. Pax loves going for a free doughnut hole.
5. On a lighter note, everyone has obviously heard about the passing of Robin Williams. I think everyone was saddened by it, genuinely. His humor and acting brought to life so many beloved characters that people truly fell for. This morning though I saw this article pop up on my Facebook news feed and I was horrified by it. People took to twitter and other forms of social media bashing his daughter Zelda. They took photos of her father and photo-shopped them to pick fun at his death and made comments about how she never posted pictures of her father so maybe they weren't even that close at all. I love her respectful comeback to that. She chose to step away from social media which I totally agree with and she posted a statement about the comments regarding posting pictures with him. She said she chose to cherish the moments with him away from the camera and the spotlight, and took pride over her family photos so much that she chose not to over publicize them so they would carry privacy and meaning. People are so heartless these days and no one should have to lose their father at such a young age and then be bullied by people who don't know her. Depression can happen to anyone at any time and people do care and do want to help. I hate that his life had to end the way it did but I hope that it carries a message to people suffering that they can ask for help and get better. Ashley from The Shine Project posted this on her instagram and I could not agree more with it:
"To all the Robin Williams in the world, you are very, very brave. And when your days are filled with too much darkness that you can possibly handle on your own, know that you are not alone, and we're cheering you on."
